Staff Governor
I am the deputy headteacher here at Little Hoole Primary School and have been for eleven years. I graduated in 2005 with a degree in Primary education and Mathematics (with QTS) from Edge hill University. Prior to working at Little Hoole, I spent four years teaching at Queen's Drive Primary in Fulwood, four years at Pool House CP School in Tanterton and a term’s secondment as acting-deputy at St Mary’s Primary School in Fleetwood.
I am currently Curriculum Leader, English Leader, Behaviour Leader and Pupil Premium Leader here at Little Hoole. I am also staff governor representative on the governing body. When I am not out of class undertaking leadership and management duties, I teach in lower key stage 2.
I am an avid reader and see the promotion of a love of reading as one of the core aims of a primary education. I also enjoy open water swimming and try to get out in the lakes as much as possible (weather permitting of course).
I have three children of my own, my son is 10 years old my daughters are 9 years old and 2 months old (at the time of writing). They keep me very busy and give me valuable insight into school life from a parent's perspective.
