Dear Parents & Carers,

Thank you for your understanding this week about our unavoidable school closure. Unfortunately the school will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday 9^th January. The company who are responsible for fixing the problem have not been able to get the appropriate parts for the job due to severe weather conditions outside of our local area. They are confident that the job will be completed tomorrow and we will update you accordingly.

Teachers will be setting some work for the children to do and this will be sent on ClassDojo later today or early tomorrow. Completion of work is encouraged but optional as we recognise that some children may have less resources available to them than others.

In my ten years here as Headteacher we have never had to shut the school for so long, even during the covid pandemic we were able to open partially. I assure you we would open if we could and felt it was possible to do so.

I apologise for the inconvenience that this will have caused this week and will update you accordingly.
